Sheet Metal Fabrication
Our company started as a custom sheet metal shop in 1910. We are passionate about good ductwork and have several experienced sheet metal workers running our fabrication shop. We use a special computerized table to cut precise fittings and decorative sheet metal products.
Some custom sheet metal projects we have worked on:
- Duct work - ventilation hoods, transitions, trunks, misc. fittings
- Table and counter tops
- Protective covers and boxes
- Personalized and decorative signs
- Personalized and decorative grilles
- Personalized and decorative license plates
- Magnet board material
We can quickly cut magnet board material!
Our shop rate is $60/hr ($15 minimum), and material pricing is based on current material costs. Because of the labor minimum, larger projects are usually more cost effective. Metal thicknesses (gauge) range from 26 gauge (thinnest) to 16 gauge (thickest). Here are a few example projects that were priced on 09/29/2011:
- 1 - 36" x 36", 24 gauge metal, flat, no hems - $30
- 1 - 12" x 12", 26 gauge metal, flat, no hems - $17
- 10 - 12" x 12", 26 gauge metal, flat, no hems - $30 ($3/each)
