Our History
A DISTINGUISHED HISTORY
Gunthers Comfort Air was founded by Carl Gunther who learned the sheet metal trade in Leipzig, Germany, in the late 1800's. He also learned the ethics of hard work and pride in his craft. He brought these ethics with him when he emigrated to the United States. Four generations later, those ethics continue to be our standard at Gunther's.
The heart of our business is providing heating and cooling comfort to our customers. We have installed furnaces, air conditioners, and related equipment in thousands of homes and commercial buildings - Alta View Hospital, Salt Lake Temple remodel, Hardees Restaurants, AT&T Regional Office, and numerous churches, to name a few.
We take pride in our thousands of valued and satisfied customers. Repeat business and referrals by our customers is the main source of our satisfaction and success. We are in the business of providing comfort and service, and we know that if we do this successfully, our customers will continue to use our services and refer others to us.
Our service department provides 24 hour service, 7 days a week--including holidays. If your heating or air conditioning equipment is not functioning properly, please call our office for the contact information of the servicemen on call.
Giving service to our customers since 1910, Gunther's Comfort Air has many employees and occupies a 12,000 square foot building in American Fork, Utah. Our trucks can be seen all along the Wasatch Front as well as in surrounding states.
We provide a variety of services. Custom sheet metal is still available from our skilled craftsmen. Our computerized plasma machine automatically cuts shapes and duct work, minimizing waste and reducing overhead costs--savings that we pass on to our customers.
We believe we have continued in business since 1910 because we provide a top-quality product line, guaranteed workmanship, courteous and well-trained employees, and unsurpassed service. We are committed to continue providing these services, and we invite you to become one of our increasing number of satisfied customers.
